How to Remove Wrinkles from Vinyl Car Wrap

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to remove wrinkles from vinyl car wrap. Wrinkles can occur during installation or even during the delivery of the vinyl. Don’t throw out these pieces because they can be easily fixed!

All you need is to add a little heat. I prefer heat guns but you can use a hair dryer or even a torch. Just be very careful if you decide to torch it up. Heat CAN melt through the vinyl if it gets too hot. With a little practice and patience, you will be able to remove even the toughest wrinkles.

Heating the vinyl will also allow it to stretch. You will be amazed at how much this vinyl can actually stretch. This comes in handy when you need to wrap heavy curves and contours. There is a limit though, so once again be careful and practice makes perfect.
